Servicing to the maintenance schedule with parts of original-equipment quality, recorded in the service book or digitally. That way your rights towards the manufacturer remain intact.
Statutory inspection (HU/AU) on site
Every Tuesday and Thursday an engineer from an officially recognised testing organisation inspects cars here. We check your car beforehand so it passes first time.
Tyre service and storage
Wheel changes, balancing, tyre fitting and storage in our tyre store, washed and with a tread check. In spring and autumn please book in good time.
Brakes
Pads, discs, brake fluid and handbrake. We measure on the brake tester and show you the old parts before they are disposed of.
Air con service
Refrigerant recovery, leak test and refill, for R134a and R1234yf. Disinfection against musty smells on request.
Fault diagnosis
Engine warning light on? We read the fault memory with up-to-date diagnostic equipment and look for the cause instead of just clearing the code.
Accident repairs
Bodywork in our own workshop, paintwork through our partner in Fürth. We coordinate with the insurer and the assessor and provide a courtesy car on request.

About us
A family business where the boss still works under the cars
Ivan Babić took over the workshop on Rothenburger Straße in 2004, back then with two lifts and one mechanic. Today there are six of us. His daughter Katarina works with us as a qualified mechatronics technician and is currently at master school.
We repair all makes, from small hatchbacks and family vans to tradespeople's transporters. Hybrids and electric cars are part of everyday work, and two of us are qualified to work on high-voltage systems.
What you will not get here: bills with surprises. If we find something during a service, we call you, send a photo and tell you the price. Then you decide.

Cars are received from 7:30 am. Outside opening hours you can drop your key into the key box at the gate. Customer parking right in front of the workshop.

Do I lose the manufacturer's warranty if I do not use a dealership?
No, not for that reason alone. Under EU rules an independent garage may service your car as long as it follows the manufacturer's specifications and uses parts of original-equipment quality. We record every service in the service book. For voluntary extended warranties it is still worth checking the terms.
How does the statutory inspection (HU) work with you?
In Germany the HU may only be carried out by inspectors from an officially recognised testing organisation such as TÜV, DEKRA, GTÜ or KÜS. An inspector comes to our workshop every Tuesday and Thursday. We check your car beforehand and fix small defects straight away, so you do not have to come back.
How much does a service cost?
It depends on model and interval. A minor service on a small car starts at 189 €, a major one with spark plugs, filters and brake fluid is often between 350 and 550 €. Give us your registration details and mileage and you receive a binding price in advance.
Can I get a courtesy car?
We have two courtesy cars you can use for 19 € a day by arrangement. After an accident that was not your fault, the other party's insurer usually pays for the replacement car.
Do you also repair hybrid and electric cars?
Yes. We handle servicing, brakes, tyres, air con and suspension for every drive type. Two of us are specially qualified for work on high-voltage systems. Work on the high-voltage battery itself and software updates that only the manufacturer can unlock are done by the dealership.
When do I have to switch to winter tyres?
Germany has no fixed date but a situational winter tyre rule: in ice, snow or frost you need tyres with the Alpine symbol (mountain with snowflake). Plain M+S tyres without this symbol no longer count since October 2024. A rule of thumb: from October to Easter. We take bookings for wheel changes from mid-September.
