From strip-out to the last silicone joint. The plumber and electrician come from our partner firms, and we keep the schedule together.
Large-format and porcelain tiles
Slabs up to 120 × 280 cm on walls and floors, using vacuum lifters, levelling systems and narrow joints. Also tile on tile where the base allows it.
Kitchen splashbacks
Metro tiles, zellige or one single large slab behind the hob and sink. Usually done in a day, cut-outs for sockets included.
Terraces and balconies
2 cm porcelain slabs on pedestals or in drainage mortar. With proper falls, drainage and frost-proof materials.
Natural stone
Marble, travertine and slate for bathrooms, stairs and window sills. Laid with the right adhesive so nothing bleeds through or stains.
Barrier-free showers
Floor-level instead of a tub, with a channel drain, slip-resistant tiles and room for a folding seat. We help with the application to the care insurance fund.

How we work with you
From the first measurements to handover
Visit and measuring up
Emre Yıldız looks at the bathroom, measures up and checks pipes and substrate. Takes about 45 minutes.
Choosing tiles and fixed price
We go with you to the tile dealer in Cologne-Ossendorf. Then you get a quote covering all trades and a start date.
Strip-out and waterproofing
Dust wall, rubble removal, new pipes by our partners, then screed and waterproofing. Every layer gets photographed.
Tiling, grouting, handover
Laying, grouting, sanitary fittings installed. Finally we walk through together and hand over the photos and care instructions.

How long will we be without a bathroom?
Usually three weeks for a complete renovation. Where possible we reconnect the toilet temporarily for the evenings. If you only have one bathroom, we plan so the shower is finished first.
Can we buy the tiles ourselves?
Yes. Let us know the format and quantity beforehand so we can plan offcuts and adhesive properly. For tiles we didn't source ourselves, our warranty covers the installation, not material defects.
Can you tile over the old tiles?
Often yes, if the old tiles are firmly bonded and there are no hollow-sounding spots. That saves dust and two to three days. We tap every surface when we measure up. In shower and bath areas we renew the waterproofing anyway.
Does the care insurance fund pay for a walk-in shower?
With a recognised care level, there is a grant of up to €4,180 per measure for home adaptations. Important: you must apply before work starts. We give you a quote with photos and a description for it.
How much dust and noise is there?
It gets loud mainly during the first two days of strip-out. We put up a dust wall with a zip door, lay cardboard along walkways and work with extraction. We inform the neighbours with a notice.
What does a complete bathroom cost?
A 6 m² bathroom with shower, WC and washbasin usually costs between €14,000 and €22,000 with us, including plumbing, electrics and tiles. We give the exact fixed price after measuring up, and list labour costs separately for your tax return.
