Websites for painters, tilers, joiners and floor layers

Your work is there for all to see. A freshly painted stairwell, a new bathroom, a made-to-measure kitchen, an oiled oak floor: for customers, the result is the best argument. Your website shows it as large and clearly as it deserves.

Pictures that win the job

With painting, tiling, joinery and flooring, customers decide with their eyes. The project gallery shows your work in large format, with a before-and-after slider if you like. Everyone can see at once what a dark hallway or a 1970s bathroom can turn into.

Each project comes with a few sentences: material, area, duration, anything special. That helps on Google and answers the question “Do they do this kind of thing too?” before anyone asks it.

How it looks on the example websites

Malerei Novak from Graz shows interior painting, façades and mould remediation and promises to clean up afterwards. Fliesen Yildiz from Cologne presents complete bathrooms, large-format tiles and step-free showers, and the team also speaks Turkish. Tischlerei Steiner from Schwaz shows kitchens, built-in furniture and Swiss stone pine work from three generations. Parkett Kowalski from Berlin lays, sands and oils floors and rescues old floorboards, with advice in Polish on request.

Each of these websites has different typefaces, colours and layout, matched to the trade and the clientele. Underneath runs the same fast technology.

Guide prices and advice as a filter

Many enquiries fall through because of the budget. If you give guide prices on your website, for example per square metre of painting or laying, you get fewer but better-matched enquiries. We show the prices as guide figures, with a clear note that the binding quote follows a site visit.

Present colour, material or wood advice as a service in its own right. Customers then know they are welcome to come with an idea and don’t need a finished plan.

Quick answers

Questions on this topic

Should I put prices on my website?

Guide prices almost always help, because they filter out enquiries that don’t fit. What matters is a note that these are guide prices and that the binding quote follows a site visit. We also state whether VAT is included or not.

I call myself a Schreiner, not a Tischler. Does that still work?

Of course. We use the term people search for in your region: Tischler in Austria and northern Germany, Schreiner in southern Germany. The same goes for Maler und Lackierer or Fliesen- und Plattenleger.

How do I get good photos of my work?

Take photos in daylight, at eye level and with the room tidied up, ideally from the same spot before and after. For a consistent look across the site, book our photo shoot as an add-on.

Can I show customers a selection of colours or materials on the website?

Yes, for example as a gallery of wood species, tile formats or colour samples from real projects. With the CMS package you add new examples yourself.
